UNRELENTING ATTACK UPON PRIVATE BAR

GOVERNOR PATRICK RENEWS PURGE OF PRIVATE BAR & CPCS CALL FOR 50% PUBLIC SECTOR EMPLOYMENT

MACAA CALL TO ARMS!

MACAA will be calling for an emergency meeting of its board in view of the Governor's renewed call to wipe out the private bar's involvement in indigent representation.

As you all know, this is the same effort put forward by Governor Patrick over the past several years, which has led to increasing numbers of public employees and ever-increasing costs to the taxpayers for rent, salaries and generous state benefit packages.

We met this head-on last year and will do so again this year.

To do so we need support. We need your membership. This is your livelihood at stake and the quality of legal representation for those who have no voice.

Please, join MACAA. We need your voice and your membership - NOW!
